Monday, Monday.....

It's Monday. Today is a bit of a foggy Monday- interrupted sleep last night. Quite a patch of weather tore through the Heartland last night, leaving many uprooted trees, fences, lots of shingles and various items littering the streets.

I found out later that a tornado was actually sighted in our subdivision. It tore up some roofing, facia and playsets. We spent a good two hours picking up tree limbs and restacking our wood pile. On the bright, it could have been so much worse. We could have lost homes or worse yet, friends or family. So maybe it's Monday, maybe I'm foggy, but I'm still here, happy, healthy and basking in the sunshine of the day.
